>> If This Is True, Einstein Must Have Had a Limited Social Life – Why Society Resents Intelligence.. 💡
Welcome back to your favorite blog about science and societal norms. Can you believe it is already April? Today, we want to shine a light on the connection between intelligence and one’s social life with this YouTube recommendation. I just brought up Einstein (once again) because he is such a great example of a high IQ. In the video below, we can learn about the link between being very smart and being avoided for exactly that reason. However, if you are a sapiosexual, you won't have a problem with intelligence at all — quite the opposite, in fact. 🙂
While watching this, you might think that being a clever person is harder because you constantly think about things that never even come to mind for the vast majority of people. But as we hear towards the end of the video it is all getting easier, once you find or build a likeminded tribe.
A quote I read somewhere before and found interesting is that 'everyone you meet knows something you don't know.'
So if you happen to be a smart cookie, embrace it, because your original ideas might lead to breakthroughs in areas which so far have been neglected by less deep thinkers. As for me, Einstein just reminds me how bad I was at math. I even had to get an after-school tutor! Yet here I am, one of his biggest cheerleaders. 🎉 💁🏼♀️
