The Wilhelmsburg Castle in Thuringia, Germany
Some brand new travel content for you! Surprisingly enough, I ended up at a castle again yesterday. Once I was there, I thought why not share the experience with you my dear readers, since you seem to be really interested in Germany. The name of this historical building/museum is Schloss Wilhelmsburg. It was built in 1584, is located in the federal state of Thuringia and is equipped with a very well taken-care-of baroque-style garden.

Juliane of Nassau-Dillenburg and their 14 children. You could say
they liked each other very much.
The Wilhelmsburg Castle, as it is called in english, was a secondary residence of the Landgraves of Hesse. A church is part of the building. It contains a Renaissance organ which is one of the oldest instruments of its kind, still functioning in middle Europe. The exhibition that is currently on display, is highlighting the work and achievements of reformer Martin Luther. Feel free to visit this place as well, if you are in the area.
